The National Museum of Language Board of Directors invites you to join them at their 10th Annual Dinner. Come enjoy the program and dinner in the ambience of the historic College Park Aviation Museum, 1985 Corporal Frank Scott Drive, College Park, Maryland 20740. Ample free parking is available. Our keynote speaker will be NML Board Member, Dr. R. David Zorc, Program Manager at the Language Research Center, McNeil Technologies. An internationally known scholar and applied linguist, he was awarded the Andrew Gonzalez Distinguished Professorial Chair in Linguistics and Language Education by the Linguistic Society of the Philippines in February 2005. Author of numerous publications, his love for language research and immersion has thus far covered some eighty languages representing five different language families: Austronesian – Philippine, Bantu, Cushitic, Australian Aboriginal, and Indo-European. Dr. Zorc will speak on the “Adventures of a Field Linguist.”

At 5:30 p.m., a reception with snacks and a cash bar will start off the program. During this time a silent auction will be held featuring items donated by our generous area merchants and NML Board Members. There will be entry forms for the door prize drawing. Dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m., followed by the keynote address.

As seating is limited, please reserve early to ensure that you do not miss this great opportunity.
