The Board of Trustees of the National Museum of Language notes with sadness the passing of Olga “Jane” Page on January 16th, 2017.  Jane, aged 92, was a longtime friend and supporter of the Museum and served as an Associate.  She will be remembered as the smiling woman that greeted people attending Museum events.

Mrs. Page is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Joseph E. Page.  Joe served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Museum for over a decade.  She is also mourned by other members of her family: her daughter, Mary Jane Tomlinson; her sons, Robert James Page and Ronald Douglas Page; her grandchildren, Elise Tomlinson, Dara McBee, and Jenifer Carlson; great-grandchildren, Aryelle Hubbard, Lee Page Carlson, and Shane McBee; and her brothers, James B. and Ronald M. Barmoy.

Jane was also active in public service and served as the First Lady of College Park, Maryland, during Joe’s tenure as Mayor.  She was a past-President of the College Park Women’s Club.

Jane was buried in her home town of Myersdale, Pennsylvania.  Her family requests that those wishing to honor Jane’s memory make a donation to the charity of their choosing.
