الأرنب الغضبان
The Angry Rabbit

A rabbit learns to appreciate what he already has.

Summary of The Angry Rabbit (الأرنب الغضبان)

This is a story about a rabbit who is not happy about his life and is annoyed about eating carrots and lettuce every day. He left his home angry, and when he felt hungry he started looking for food. The rabbit met his friend, the dog, and asked him for food since he was hungry. The dog offered the rabbit the food he eats (which is meat), and the rabbit refused to eat it. He reminded the dog that he is a rabbit and he does not eat meat. The dog apologized that he does not have any other food. As the Rabbit walked looking for food, he met several other animals and asked them for food.

He learned at the end to appreciate what he has and returned home happy. He apologized to his mom and dad as he regrets his feeling mad and not appreciating what he has.

An Italian word meaning “foundry.” It originally referred to a part of the city of Venice where the Jews of that city were forced to live; the area was called “the ghetto” because there was a foundry nearby. The term eventually came to refer to any part of a city in which a minority group is forced to live as a result of social, legal, or economic pressure. Because of the restrictions placed upon them, ghetto residents are often impoverished.
