Washington State Liaison Dr. Michele Anciaux Aoki was presented with top honors by the National Council of Less-Commonly Taught Languages (NCLTCL), receiving their A. Ronald Walton Award. This is a lifetime achievement award, presented to an individual whose career has been distinguished by selfless service and noteworthy contributions to less commonly taught language initiatives.
