Hello everyone!
My name is Rob Glass. As of October 20, I am the new social media manager for the NML. I just wanted to use this blog post to introduce myself and say a little about my background.
I am currently a Spanish teacher at Kent Island High School, located in Stevensville, MD. I received a Bachelor’s in Spanish and Secondary Education from Towson University and a Master’s in Spanish from New Mexico State University. During that time I have studied abroad extensively in Madrid, Berlin, and San Jose.
I first learned about NML from their exhibitor space at MFLA’s (Maryland Foreign Language Association) annual conference. I think the organization is truly providing a unique service to the linguistic community and the study of languages as a whole.
In my free time, you will see me traveling (only one more continent to go!), training for long distance running, and pursuing a graduate certificate through Johns Hopkins University. I’m excited to share my love of languages with others and provide a service to this great organization!
