The Tailless Fox

Once upon time, there was an old woman. This old woman milks her own cow, puts the milk down, goes to get wood and sticks to make a fire and boil the milk.
A fox comes, puts its head in the milk jug, eats the milk.
The old woman catches up with it, gives it a slap, cuts off the fox’s tail.
The fox without a tail runs away, goes and stands on a stone and begs the old woman, “Nani, nani, give me my tail, I’ll tie it up, go and catch up with my friends, so they don’t say to me, tailless fox , where have you been?
The old woman says, “Well, go and get my milk.”
The fox goes to the cow.
“Cow, cow, give me some milk, I’ll take the milk to the old woman, the old woman will give me my tail, I’ll tie it up, go and catch up with my friends, so they don’t say to me, tailless fox , where have you been?
The cow says, “Well, go and get some grass for me.”
The fox goes to the field.

The field says, “Well, go and get some water for me.”
The fox goes to the spring.

The fox goes to the witch.

The witch says.

The fox goes to the chicken.
“Chicken, chicken, give me an egg, I will take the egg to the witch, the witch will give me a bead, I will take the bead to the girl, the girl will give me a jug. I will take the jug to the spring, the spring will give me water. I will take the water to the field, the field will give me grass. I will take the grass to the cow, the cow will give me milk. I will take the milk to the old woman, the old

The chicken says, “Well, go and get me some seeds.”
The fox goes to the thresher.
“Thresher, thresher, give me some seeds, I will take the seeds to the chicken. The chicken will give me an egg, I will take the egg to the witch, the witch will give me a bead, I will take the bead to the girl, the girl will give me a jug, I will take the jug to the spring, the spring will give me water, I will take the water to the field, the field will give me grass, I will take the grass to the cow, the cow will give me milk, I will take the milk to the old woman, the old woman will give me my tail. I’ll tie it up, go and catch up with my friends, so they don’t say to me, tailless fox , where have you been?”
The thresher feels bad for the fox. He gives the fox a handful of seeds. The fox bring the seeds to the chicken, the chicken gives an egg, the fix brings the egg to the witch, the witch gives a bead, the fox brings the bead to the girl, the girl gives a pitcher, the fox brings the pitcher to the spring, the spring gives water, the fox brings the water to the field, the field gives grass, the fox
brings the grass to the cow, the cow gives milk, the fox brings the milk to the old woman, the old woman gives him the tail. The fox wags it, she ties it, runs away, and catches up with her friends.

He learned at the end to appreciate what he has and returned home happy. He apologized to his mom and dad as he regrets his feeling mad and not appreciating what he has.
